Three More Pitches Find Broadcast Houses
Up-and-coming feature authors Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair, whose film script A Many Splintered Factor was recently named one of the ten Nicholls Fellowship runners up, have offered a comedy project to CBS. Titled Girlfriend Season, this is an observational romantic comedy that follows 6 people, a young couple in addition to their pals. UTA-repped Shafer and Vicknair are writing, with Generate creating. Fox has bought a drama pitch from Aaron Stockard who co-written Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone as well as the Town. Titled Thick as Thieves, the drama can be a blue collar cleaning cleaning soap occur Boston. Stockard, repped by WME and three Arts, is writing, 20th TV and Chernin Entertainment creating. NBC has bought a personality-driven procedural drama from veteran Law & Order: SVU author Judith K.
